A leading expert in headache treatment. Known through various media outlets as a physician who sees approximately 200 patients a day (6,000 per month) at the headache clinic, he draws patients from all over Japan whose headaches have not been cured at other hospitals. In addition to actively promoting awareness about headache relief on television and in magazines, he has served as an advisor to the “National Chronic Headache Friends Association,” a support group for patients suffering from chronic headaches and their families.

- Education: Graduated from Nippon Medical School. Graduated from Tokyo Women’s Medical University Graduate School, obtained a Ph.D. in Medicine.
- Career: After serving as a Lecturer at the Headache Clinic (Department of Neurosurgery) at Tokyo Women’s Medical University and a Lecturer in the Department of Neurology at Dokkyo Medical University, he was appointed Visiting Professor at the Headache Clinic (Department of Neurosurgery) at Tokyo Women’s Medical University and Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Neurology at Dokkyo Medical University (concurrently) in 2011.
