We have recently confirmed that certain individuals are falsely claiming to be investors or owners affiliated with 5Star Medical Club. Additionally, we have identified the intentional circulation of a false rumor stating that a Chinese national has invested billions of yen into our club or its related facilities.
As of the end of April 2025, all ownership and management of 5Star Medical Club and its affiliated facilities are solely held by Japanese corporations and licensed Japanese physicians. We have not received any investment or loans from foreign nationals or foreign-owned enterprises.
If you come across individuals engaging in misleading promotions or unauthorized fundraising activities using our name, please exercise caution and report the matter to 5Star Medical Club.
We consider these acts as fraudulent interference with business operations, which is a criminal offense under Article 233 of the Japanese Penal Code and is punishable by up to three years of imprisonment or a fine of up to 500,000 yen. We intend to file a criminal complaint accordingly.
